We’re off to a great start to the term with lots happening around the school.
World Teachers’ Day – Friday 31 October. A big thank you to our P&C for organising a coffee van to celebrate World Teachers’ Day this Friday. All staff will enjoy a complimentary coffee, and parents are welcome to purchase one after 8.30am once staff orders are completed to ensure everyone is ready for the start of school.
Fundraising Thanks again to the P&C for organising the Colour Run for 2025 on Friday 14th November. It will be a great event and a teacher has volunteered to be slimed on the day!! Year 6 students are fundraising for end of year events with a Cake Stall on Thursday 6th November. My thanks to parents and carers for baking and sourcing the cakes and we look forward to supporting their endeavours.
Inter-School Sports All the best to our inter-school team who competed at Interschool Athletics at Langford Sporting Complex . I am sure you will represent Yale brilliantly with effort and teamwork throughout the day. Thanks go to Mr Scotland and Mr Riley for setting up the event and Mr Gandy for training the team.
Attendance Challenge Our next Attendance Challenge has begun! Students can earn prizes and rewards for consistent or improved attendance. Check the flyer in this newsletter for details and encourage your child to be at school every day.
Safety Reminder – Staff Carpark Please do not walk through the staff carpark before or after school. There are vehicle movements during these times, and it is not safe for students or parents. Please use the designated pedestrian paths to access the gates.
Kindy Olympics Despite the weather, our Kindy Olympics on Wednesday 29 October was a huge success! Thank you to the staff and parents who helped make the day such fun for our youngest students.
