From the Associate Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we move into the final weeks of this term, we have some exciting events lined up!

First up is the Run 4 Fun! This event is always a favourite, where students can showcase their running skills, enjoy the outdoors, and participate in some friendly competition. It’s a fantastic way to promote physical fitness and camaraderie among our students. Please note the date change for this which is now Friday 14th June.

Don’t miss the P & C Disco also on Friday 14th June. A night filled with music, dancing, and lots of fun. It’s a perfect chance for our students to unwind and enjoy themselves with their friends. The P & C has been working hard to make this event a memorable one, and we encourage everyone to come along and join in the festivities.

Following that, we have the Winter Sports Carnival on Friday 21st June. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage in various sports activities, learn new skills, and, most importantly, have fun while staying active.

In Week 10, we will be observing NAIDOC Week. This is a significant event where we celebrate and recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We have various activities planned throughout the week that will educate and inspire our students about the significance of this observance.

Lastly, I would like to emphasise the importance of regular attendance. Every day at school counts, and consistent attendance is key to supporting your child’s learning. It also gives them the best chance to be in the draw for the attendance voucher award at the end of the term!

Thank you for your continued support.

We look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events and celebrating our students’ achievements together.

Warm regards,

Kirsty Wood | Associate Principal
