The students have had some fantastic learning experiences in what has been a very busy term and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of the support you give to not only your children but the staff of Yale Primary School as well.
The teachers have been busily writing reports and these will be coming home on Wednesday afternoon.
Term Three will see many changes happening around the school. Mr Read has taken Long Service Leave for the remainder of this term and the beginning of Term 3. In his place I will be undertaking the role of Principal.
Mrs Bradford will be leaving us after 16 years to live in America. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Bradford for all of the tireless efforts she put in to the students and staff during her time at YPS. We wish her all the best and we look forward to hearing all about her new adventures.
Ms Chahal will also be leaving us at the end of this term as she awaits the arrival of her second child. We would like to wish her all the best and we hope to see her and the baby very soon.
The following changes will also occur in Term 3:
- Miss Zoe Chalmers will be joining our Early Childhood team for the remainder of the year.
- Mr Brad Lamprey will be remaining in A1 for the remainder of the year.
- Mr Sean Parfitt will be taking over Ms Chahal’s two days in B5.
- Mrs MacDonald will be on Long Service Leave for the first four weeks of term with Mrs Kim Tan taking her place in EC3
With all of these changes ahead, Term 3 is looking like it will be a very busy time of year for us all. With the Sport Carnival and Open Night both happening as well.
This must mean that we are all in need of a restful and relaxing two weeks so we are all ready to go when school returns on Monday 22 July.
The staff of Yale Primary School would like to wish all parents and students a very safe and happy holidays.
A note from the office

All of our students thoroughly enjoyed the visit and we thank you for taking the time to help us celebrate NAIDOC.
