On Tuesday 26th March the students and staff held a picnic lunch and invited parents and friends to come to the school and join them for lunch to celebrate this important day. We received very positive feedback from a lot of parents. Mrs Julie Bergin, our School Psychologist thought that the atmosphere on the oval was very positive. She mentioned that the parent involvement and community building was valuable and the parents were interested in the symbolism of different ribbons (various cultures/beliefs) tied on the fence together to denote unity of the Yale community. The students clearly loved the idea and practice. Thank you to Mrs McCormack and Mrs Lehembre for organising this day.
